Shivneri Fort is a 17th-century military fortification located near Junnar in Pune district in Maharashtra, India. It is the birthplace of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of Maratha Empire. The fort was said to be built by Shahaji Raje to protect his son Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and his wife Veermata Jijabai. The fort, if watched from above, looks like a triangular shape where its entry gate is towards the south-west.
The Fort is Where the Chhtrapati Shivaji Maharaj was born on 19th February 1630. Before this the Shahaji raje the Father of Shivaji Maharaj Conquered this fort to protect his Wife Jijabai and his son Shivaji. Fort went under the control of Mughals in 1637. Fishermen rebelled against Mughals in 1650, but Mughals won the battle. In 1673, Shivaji Maharaj made an unsuccessful attempt to conquer the fort by winning over the fort chieftain Ajijkhan and surrounding the fort. In the year 1678, the Junnar area was pillaged and Maratha army made an unsuccessful attempt to capture the fort. After the gap of 40 years, in 1716 Shahu Maharaj brought the fort under the control of Maratha Empire and thereafter it was handed over to Peshvas.

सकाळी 06.00 : गिरीजात्मक (लेण्याद्री ) गणपती कडे प्रस्थान
सकाळी 06.30 : गणपती दर्शन – लेण्याद्री, कपचित लेणी समूह पाहणे व माहिती घेणे
सकाळी 08.00 : लेण्याद्री उतरणे
सकाळी 08.30 : नाश्ता करणे – शिवनेरी कडे प्रस्थान
सकाळी 09.00 : शिवनेरी गड ट्रेक सुरू
सकाळी 11.00 : शिवजन्मस्थानपाशी पोहचणे ( जाताना वाटेतील 7 दरवाजे, पाण्याच्या टाक्या ,आई शिवाई मंदिर व बाकी सर्व वास्तूंची माहिती घेत आपण वर पोहचणार आहोत )
सकाळी 11.00 : शिवजन्म इतिहास एकणे ( शिवनेरी वर गेल्यावर सगळयात महत्वाचा इतिहास जो प्रत्येकाने समजून घेतला पाहिजे – महाराजांचा जन्म का महत्वाचा ही इथली माती आपल्याला सांगते )

सकाळी 11.45 : शिवनेरी अभ्यास मोहीम पुर्ण करून गड उतरायला सुरू करणे.
दुपारी 12.45 : जुन्नर मध्ये जेवण करणे.
दुपारी 02.00 : नानेघाट कडे प्रस्थान
दुपारी 03.00 : नाणेघाटात पोहचणे
दुपारी 03.15 : नानेघाट – तिथला शिलालेख – दगडी रांजन पहाणे आणि 2000 वर्षा पूर्वी चा प्राचीन व्यापारी मार्ग, जुन्नर कस असेल याविषयी जाणून घेणे.
सायंकाळी 04.15 : नानाचा अंगठा चढणे
सायंकाळी 04.45 : अंगठ्यावरून सह्याद्री मधल काय-काय दिसत कोणते गडकोट – डोंगर -शिखरे ती जाणून घेऊ आणि
निसर्गाच्या सानिध्यात वेळ घालवणे (इथला सायंकाळी चा थंडगार वारा .. भन्नाट अनुभव देतो.
सायंकाळी 05.45 : सूर्यास्त पाहणे
सायंकाळी 07.00 : कॅम्पसाईट वर पोहचणे आणि फ्रेश होणे
सायंकाळी 07.30 ते 09.30
●चहा / refreshments - ●प्रश्नमंजुषा ( ही दिवसभर झालेल्या ऐतिहासिक माहितीवर आधारित असेल आणि यातून 5 विजेते काढले जातील जे बक्षिसाठी पात्र असतील )
● ट्रेकिंग आणि adventure activities घेताना कोणती काळजी घ्यावी याविषयी माहिती सत्र .

सकाळी 07.30 : ट्रेक सुरु करणे
सकाळी 08.30 : गडावर पोहचून माहिती घेने संपूर्ण गड पहाणे .
सकाळी 11.00 : उतरायला सुरुवात करणे
दुपारी 12.00 : जेवण (प्रसन्नगड पायथा )
दुपारी 01.15 : तुळजा लेणी कडे प्रस्थान
दुपारी 02.15 : लेणी पाहणे
दुपारी 03.15 : समारोप - प्रश्नमंजुषा विजेत्यांना बक्षीस वाटप (5 विजेते असतील )
दुपारी 03.45 : अनुभव sharing ..
04.00 : खूप साऱ्या भन्नाट / अविसमरणीय आठवणी घेऊन घरची वाट धरू ..... पुन्हा कधी तरी सह्याद्रीत सोबत हिंडण्यासाठी ...🙌
