✅   A little about  Bhairavgad(Shirpunje), Ghanachakkar Peak, Katrabai Peak, Gavaldev Peak, Ratangad Range Trek  :

 B2R : The Jumbo, Offbeat, and Dream Range Trek from Bhairavgad (Shirpunje), Ghanchhakar, Gawaldev, Katrabai, to Ratangad The Bhairavgad (Shirpunje, 1145 mtrs.) fort is believed to be ancient and almost 2500 years old. This fort has only a few ruins and remains on top. There are two big caves on the top; one cave is a shrine to Lord Bhairavnath, and the other cave is used for residence purposes. There are many water tanks on the top. The idol in the cave is very well carved and painted, and it is well maintained by the villagers.

 Ghanchhakar (1,532 m/5,026 ft) is the third highest peak in Maharashtra State under the Sahyadri mountain ranges in western India. Its neighboring peak, Muda, 1,520 meters (4,990 ft), is the fourth highest peak in Maharashtra State under Sahyadris. Ratangad Fort is one of the most popular trekking spots in Bhandardara. As the name depicts this fort is also known as the “jewel of Sahyadri." The massiveness of Sahyadri can be experienced only from a few forts, and Ratangad is one of them; it's like a view point to Bhandardara Dam and Sahyadri.

There is a path called Bhairavgad to Ghanchakkar that leads to the peak. Ghanchakkar is one of the three peaks along the Ratangad-Bhairavgad. The trail is very scenic and has so many viewpoints in between, which is really breathtaking. The natural beauty is in full swing on this path, and to get yourself away from mundane life, the charm of this trail is really exclusive.
