Harishchandragad trek is one of the most challenging treks in the western ghats of Maharashtra. A popular trek which offers a variety of adventures to all kinds of trekkers. It is a hill fort in the Ahmednagar district situated in the Malshej Ghat. It climbs up to an altitude of 4,670 ft.
The carvings on the temples of Nageshwar (in Khireshwar village), in the Harishchandreshwar temple and in the cave of Kedareshwar indicate that the fort belongs to the medieval period since it is related to Shaiva, Shakta or Naath. Later the fort was under the control of Moguls. The Marathas captured it in 1747. Main attractions on Fort: Sapta Tirta Pushkarini, Kedareshwar Cave, Konkan Kada (Konkan cliff), Taramati peak, Temple of Harishchandreshwar, Ganesh Cave, Vetaleshwar Temple, Vetal Cave, Ganesh Sond, Ancient Entry Gate, Underground Root And Many More.

01:20 am Assemble at Kasara Railway Station near ticket counter and start journey toward Pachnai Village.
04:30 am Reach Base Village.
05.00 am Freshen up have breakfast & Start the Trek
07:30 am Reach Top Ganesh Sond & Explore.
8:30 am Start Toward Balekilla and Explore.
10:00 am Start Toward Harishchandreshwar Temple and Explore.
12:30 pm : Lunch and Rest time.
02:30 pm : Start trek toward underground root.
05:30 pm : Sunset view konkankada and camping arrangements.
7:00 pm Evening refreshment.

12:30 PM Reach Pachnai Village and unlimited lunch veg/nonveg.
01:00 PM Start Return Journey.
